POLICY STATEMENT:
Employees who perform non-routine tasks (not performed on a daily basis) and
are expected to work with hazardous chemicals must be instructed on the
following:
 Potential chemical hazards relative to their job
 Location of MSDS
 Required personal protective equipment

PROCEDURES:
1. The site supervisor will have lead staff instruct non-routine task or “float”
employees with the above safety information before beginning their work.

2. Non-routine task or “float” employees who will work with hazardous chemicals
must inquire and find answers to the above safety information before
beginning their work.
