PE.07.30.05 Domestic Hot Water Standards

I PURPOSE

To minimize the risk of scalding.

II POLICY

The high alarm point for our domestic hot water system is 130F (54.5 C).


III PROCEDURE

The water temperature in patient care areas will be monitored by the building automation
systems to ensure that temperatures do not exceed 130F.
