As part of UW Health’s multi-year effort to implement new market-based pay structures, all pay structures will increase by 1% effective October 1, 2017 to help ensure we remain competitive in pay within the market.
To help us keep pace, regular and some temporary employees hired between May 16 and September 30, 2017 will receive an increase to their base pay equal to the structure adjustment (1%) on October 1.
So, what does that mean? This means all recently hired regular and some temporary employees will receive a 1.0% pay increase. This keeps newly hired employees’ place in the pay range the same until they are eligible for the performance based pay review process in 2018.
