Roles that have a required bilingual component, and identified as eligible, will receive $1.00 per hour for hours worked.
- Usage of the Bilingual Differential is based on management approval and operational need (which may include demographic needs of patients and/or employee group)
- This is for non-clinical roles and is not intended to be a replacement or stand-in for medical interpreters; does not apply to those roles that the bilingual requirement is a core component of the role itself (ex. medical interpreters; interpreter services)
Employees can find their differential designation in Employee Self Service (UWHC | UWMF) under Payroll and Compensation, Current Compensation.
