Complete the Compensation Election While on Leave form in ServiceNow to indicate how you would like to be paid while on your leave of absence.

Paid Adoption, Maternity, and Paternity Leave

Eligible employees receive up to one week of paid time off following the legal adoption of a child or following the delivery of a child. More information can be found on the  Paid Adoption, Maternity, and Paternity Leave page.

How to Initiate Your Leave of Absence

Employees will need to contact both The Hartford and their manager/supervisor if they will be missing work time due to an approved leave of absence. Employees should contact their manager/supervisor 30 days in advance for a foreseeable leave.

The Hartford will send all leave and disability paperwork to the employee’s home address.
