Child Care Reimbursement Accounts

The Employee Reimbursement Account (ERA) is an optional benefit that allows eligible employees to pay up to $5,000 of eligible dependent care expenses (such as daycare or after school fees) from their pre-tax income, rather than their after-tax income. You are eligible to enroll in this benefit due to the birth of your child once you return to work and child care is needed. To enroll, submit the FSA Change of Election Form to Human Resources within 30 days of your return to work. Employee Assistance and Work-Life Program

Life Matters is the employee assistance and work/life program available to UW Health staff. This free and confidential program can provide guidance on a wide array of personal and professional concerns for UW Health employees and their families, which includes referrals for child care services. 24/7 counseling services and support are available to employees via phone or online.
