Focus

Purpose

To provide Social Workers with the resources and technology they need, as well as the education and support they require, to use these resources effectively. The council will also reach out to other disciplines to share these resources.

Goals

  1. Maintain Social Work Manual. Continue to add to and keep current. Provide training to other disciplines re use of manual.
  2. Work with Standards Committee members and HealthLink team to develop and refine documentation tools.
  3. Provide technical support and training to social work colleagues/students in electronic tools such as HealthLink, ECIN, Outlook and SW manual.
  4. Define standards for basic computer skills. Facilitate training. Develop skill check-off process.
