On Call Coverage

Focus

Social workers who are on call weekends and holidays may be contacted by the Transplant Nurse Coordinator to complete an urgent liver transplant evaluation.

These calls will only come in between 8am and 5pm.

The evaluations may be conducted via phone. Please speak with the patient if possible. If they are too ill to speak on the phone, please speak with their primary support person.

The documentation may be completed the next business day.
