UW Health's pulmonary rehabilitation program helps people with lung disease management skills and improving their physical functioning. Patients learn how to manage shortness of breath and increase activity tolerance, and receive one-on-one, personalized education.

Our comprehensive sessions include:

Patients who may benefit from our services include those with chronic lung disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary fibrosis, chronic asthma, cystic fibrosis and lung cancer, and pre- and post-procedure lung transplant patients.

The program improves individual lifestyle through the combined use of assessment, education, support and exercise.
