Focus

Most members of the Amish Community believe it is their covenant not to accept charity care, and therefore most are not willing to apply for MA. They are therefore not eligible for Community Care as they do not meet the criteria of "exhausting their funding options".

As of 3/2013, they are billed at the MA rate for inpatient services, and at a 30% discount for outpatient services.
