Information Services is deploying a printing solution on January 30, 2017 to the entire enterprise known as PrinterLogic. The printing solution will save time and costs to the organization and will provide the following benefits to staff:
- Enable single click printer installations for end users
- Continued printing in the event of a global network outage
- Provide floor maps for locations to help locate and install printers more easily
How Does this affect you?
Starting at 11pm on January 30, IT will push the printer solution out to UW Health workstations across the enterprise. This should have no impact on your current Windows printing and will have no impact on printing within Health Link.
What Should I expect?
You may notice a small change when viewing your printers. All drivers and printer settings will be imported and you shouldn’t notice any change in your printing process. The workflow to installing a printer will change, directions found below
