FAQ

When I am working at a Regional Services site, what phone number(s) can I use?

You can use the (608) 504-4000 or toll-free: (800) 269-0099

Where do I authenticate the transcription(s)?

All users will now be authenticating transcriptions in the HealthLink Transcription folder within your InBasket.

Do I still need to enter .dictate in the progress note?

Yes, ".dictate" puts a 'hold' on the encounter and will not route a cc'd encounter until the transcription is authenticated.

I am a Fellow - how do I send a transcription to be cosigned?

Click Edit on the Transcription message toolbar; click Cosign required and add the provider needing to cosign.

I am an Advanced Practice Practitioner - how do I send a transcription to be cosigned?

Click Edit on the Transcription message toolbar; click Cosign required and add the provider needing to cosign.

Why is the Care Team required to be used?

The M*Modal system will use what is listed in the Care Team and Referring Provider field (used when scheduling appointments) for auto-routing of dictation for both internal and external providers. It is important to have the correct address chosen if there are multiple options, to ensure the dictation gets to the correct location, maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Does the PCP always get a copy of my dictated notes?

What can I do to help limit the number of duplicate messages sent via InBasket?

How are results routed that I have dictated through full dictation?
