Focus

UWHC Security may issue up to two AFCH Primary Visitor ID badges per patient. ID badges must be worn at chest level on an outer piece of clothing at all times while visiting at the AFCH. The ID badge also serves as the visitor’s building access card for after hours and unit specific access. 

AFCH Primary Visitor badges are deactivated upon patient discharge. When a patient is discharged, staff is asked to retrieve the Primary Visitor ID badge and place it in one of the badge return boxes located on the patient care units. Badges may also be dropped off at the Security Office.
