Who can schedule radiology procedures?

With few exceptions, the referring provider's office must call radiology to schedule their patients for their procedures. Why? We need a referring provider's order to do the exams and it is important to obtain all necessary information.

Why is obtaining this information so important?

Accurate and complete data provides our patients with the best possible care. With this information, our radiologists are able to make certain they obtain the information that the referring provider is seeking.
