The Heart and Vascular Care (HVC) Non-Invasive Diagnostic Testing Laboratory perform approximately 17,000 inpatient and outpatient procedures annually. Our highly skilled team includes physicians, sonographers, nurses and schedulers. The Adult Echo Laboratory has earned national accreditation from the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in Echocardiography, Stress Echocardiography and Transesophageal Testing since 1999, and the Peripheral Vascular Laboratory in these areas of Non-imaging Peripheral Vascular testing: Peripheral Arterial, Peripheral Venous, Extracranial, Intracranial, Visceral Vascular and Carotid Intima Media Thickness since 1996.

Peripheral Vascular Laboratory Access to Services

The main laboratory is located inside the University Hospital on fourth floor off of the atrium elevators and performs all echocardiogram and vascular procedures, as does UW Health at The American Center. Research Park Clinic performs outpatient echocardiograms only and limited vascular testing.
