How do I contact Lost and Found?

Please contact our Lost and Found section at (608) 263-1260. There will be someone available in the office between the hours of 7am and 4:30pm, Monday through Saturday, to help you with your inquiry.

How does the hospital handle the disposal/recycling of used alkaline batteries (type AA, AAA, C, etc)?

Recycling stations are set up in J3/1 by the Mendota Market, the G5/2 Lobby, the B5/3 Lobby, the B5/5 Lobby, the E6/5 Lobby and the E6/4 lobby. These recycling statins are also located at UW Station, East Clinic and West Clinic. These green recycling stations accept a variety of electronic and writing material items including alkaline and non-alkaline batteries.

Where do I send the old cartridges / toners to be recycled?

Any used printer or copier cartridge from Gordon Flesch - whether it is from Sharp, Kyocera or an HP printer or copier - may be sent to the loading dock for recycling.

Simply drop off at the Environmental Service office located at D4/125 or send them inter-departmental mail to the loading dock at Mail Code 1515, Attn: Dennis Wrobel.

Cartridges are picked up by UW SWAP. No special handling is required.
