UW Health supports allied health education and training programs in a variety of areas. The AHECP department oversees the Schools of Medical Imaging Sciences: The School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and The School of Radiologic Technology.
UW Health Diagnostic Medical Sonography: The School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography is a hospital-based clinical training program. Students of this program complete their work through one of the affiliates and their professional education at UW Health.
School of Radiologic Technology:The School of Radiologic Technology is a hospital-based radiography program sponsored by UW Health. Students of this program complete their work through one of the affiliates and their professional education at UW Health.
Please note that training programs are individually conducted by the respective departments and have unique admission requirements specific to each program. AHECP does not have any involvement in selecting individuals for the variety of UW Health education and training programs; however, our team can assist you in preparing and educating you on the process for the program.
