Health Link Test Code: XCCP

LIS Test Code: CCPIGG

CPT Code(s): 86200

Methodology: Enzyme Immunoassay

Clinical Information:

Studies have shown that detection of antibodies to CCP may predict the eventual development into RA when found in undifferentiated arthritis and is a marker of erosive disease in RA. The sensitivity of anti-CCP has been shown to be comparable to RF (50-75%) with a higher specificity (90-95%).
