Clinical Information:

IgE is responsible for the clinical picture observed in immediate-type allergies. In allergic diseases such as atopic dermatitis or asthma, the serum IgE concentrations generally correlate with the intensity of exposure to the allergen and with the intensity of allergic symptoms.
