Stigmatizing - Clinical Hub, Tools & Resources, Health Link and Outside EHR Medical Systems, Health Link Info, Tips and Training, Research in Health Link

Focus

What about studies that are "stigmatizing?"

UW defines “Stigmatizing Research” studies as those that include populations that may be at high risk for discrimination if the subject’s participation in the study was disclosed beyond the research team (e.g. studies examining mental health, social life choices or those enrolling subjects who may be at a genetic risk for a disease, but do not yet have the disease).

Please refer to the  for further information and procedure for documenting stigmatizing studies in OnCore and Health Link.
