Patient Safety and Quality Improvement - Clinical Hub, References, Comprehensive Stroke Program, UW Neurology/Stroke Service Resident Orientation Manual

Focus

The stroke resident should try to attend the monthly meetings of the stroke program’s quality, and regulatory committee (SQRC). Those meetings cover clinical and operational issues that arise on the stroke service, including review of all tPA and most other stroke cases. The stroke resident is expected to learn from the feedback provided there, share it with his/her colleagues, and thereby gain understanding of the larger system in which he/she works.
