Unidentified Med Flight Patients not coming to the ED

Unidentified Med Flight Patients not coming to the ED - Clinical Hub, References, Emergency Department Resources, EDC Resources

Focus

There will be times that Med Flight calls asking you to create a unident for a patient that was deceased on scene. When this happens you will need to EXPECT a unident and leave them on the expected board; do not arrive. Give the MRN to Med Flight. Once you have done this you can then dismiss the unident from the expected board. You will then need to email Ann with the MRN so she can update the patient’s record.
