Resources for Visually Impaired or Blind People

The resources in this document help you get the most out of the eyesight you have.
The services offered are non-invasive and help you with low vision aids, ways of
using the vision you have left, and getting you in touch with valuable community
resources. Programs are usually not a “treatment” to restore lost or damaged
vision. They bring together practical techniques and useful tools to help you get
the most out of your vision. A person with low vision may need different aids for
different activities. Being able to get the most out of your useful eyesight helps
you be safer, more independent and enjoy life more.
