Date ______________________Time___________________

Where and when do I go?

3rd floor and follow the signs to the Cardiovascular Center.

How do I prepare?
ξ Do not eat or drink for 6 hours before your procedure. You may take your prescribed

you eat on the day of the procedure, please call to reschedule.
ξ Do not take any blood thinners for 3 (three) days before your scheduled procedure. If
you have taken blood thinners which include warfarin and Coumadin® you will need to
reschedule with the kidney clinic. You may take aspirin.
ξ Bring someone with you to drive you home in case you need to be sedated.
If you have questions, call the Kidney Clinic nurse at 608-270-5656.
