Bedside Meal Instructions:
Room Service Class:
NPO after swallowing capsule. Provide 8-12 ounce bolus of
water or clear/colorless soda 2 hrs after swallowing capsule.
Two light meals during study (1/2 sandwich or soup). First
meal 5 hrs after swallowing capsule. Second meal 9 hrs after
swallowing capsule. Sips of liquid only as needed until end of
study. Coffee, colas, and milk are allowed. See Capsule RN
handoff for times/details. No oral medications until 5 hrs after
swallowing capsule.
