CONTINUOUS, Starting today, Use hospital supply of Factor

8 while inpatient.

Avoid Dividing Vial of Factor [NURTRT0048] CONTINUOUS, Starting today, Avoid dividing a vial of factor.

To avoid wasting factor the dose may be rounded up to the

nearest vial size. The final dose should not exceed 125% of

the recommended dose.

Do NOT Administer Any Aspirin Containing Products or

Ketorolac [NURTRT0048]

Aspirin containing products or ketorolac.

Preprocedure [13684]

factor 8 (HELIXATE FS) injection [760282] 40-50 Units/kg, Intravenous, ONCE For 1 Doses

Give 30 minutes prior to procedure. Use hospital supply of

factor 8 while inpatient. Avoid dividing a vial of factor. To

avoid wasting factor the dose may be rounded to the nearest

vial size. The final dose should not exceed 125% of the

recommended dose.

Note: No aspirin or ketorolac [950018] EVERY 8 HOURS

Postprocedure - NOTE: Order for procedure with NO cutting or cautery [13685]

tomorrow For 2 Doses

Begin 24 hours after preprocedure dose. Use hospital supply

of factor 8 while inpatient. Avoid dividing a vial of factor. To

avoid wasting factor the dose may be rounded to the nearest

vial size. The final dose should not exceed 125% of the

recommended dose.

Postprocedure - NOTE: Order BOTH for procedure with cutting or cautery [19680]
