*Admission to a specific unit should be based on requirements for
medical support. UW Health does not provide inpatient pediatric
psychiatric services, therefore AFCH admission may be used to
temporarily place the patient in a safe environment until transfer to
a local/regional psychiatric facility is established. Admission criteria
for adult psychiatry is outlined in UWHC Policy 10.22.
