 Check glucose no more
than 30 minutes before
insulin administration

 Lispro: Give within 0-15
minutes of meal (after
meal if carb counting or
adjusting dose for intake)
 Regular: Give 25-35
minutes before meal
**Give PRN correction

possible to limit the
