8 mg, Intravenous, ONCE PRN, 1 dose Starting when released, nausea/vomiting, Administer over 3 Minutes

2 g, Intravenous, ONCE, 1 dose Starting when released, Administer over 180 Minutes
Administer over 60 to 120 minutes Give if magnesium is less than or equal to 1.5 mg/dL.
